Smoke!
That's because Greenwood furnaces can smoke…and they can smoke a lot. They smoke a lot on start up--sometimes for an hour or more. They smoke a lot on refueling--sometimes more than an hour. And…after they get crudded up and choked up with dangerous creosote (which they do), they produce thin streams of often foul-smelling smoke most of the time.

Here’s our story:
We wanted to burn wood for heat not because we were interested in saving money, but because we wanted to be “carbon neutral” and reduce or eliminate fossil fuel dependence…that dependence on gas or oil that we pay so dearly for in so many ways.
